Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
1 packet (1 oz) dry chicken gravy mix
1 cup chicken broth
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional for Serving:
Mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or use a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.
Add the Ingredients: Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle the dry ranch seasoning mix and chicken gravy mix over the chicken.
Mix the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
Cook Low & Slow: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
Make It Creamy: About 30 minutes before serving, stir the softened cream cheese into the slow cooker. Let it melt and combine with the gravy.
Shred & Serve: Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker. Stir to coat the chicken in the creamy gravy.
Garnish & Enjoy: Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired!
Pro Tip: For extra flavor, sear the chicken in a skillet before adding it to the slow cooker.
Notes
Pro Tip: Serve with mashed potatoes or buttered rice to soak up every drop of that amazing gravy!
